Seals Electronics -- 8K Static RAM Seals Electronics were one of the first companies to take
advantage of MITS inability to produce RAM boards fast enough for the Altair.
This 8K RAM board was commonly seen in many early S-100 systems. It was
solid as a rock but soaked up power!
The board could be addressed on any 8K boundary in the 64K address space.
Two versions were available with 500 nsec and 250 nsec RAM chips. The
board utilized 2102AL-4 or 91LO2 APC chips. There was battery
standby capability on the board.
